With the daunting task of scheduling, managing, and planning church and community events as well as daily day-to-day activities at Mountain Chapel, Steve Cooley makes it look effortless. But for him, his work is easy when “you are accepted and feel you belong” at a place like Mountain Chapel. Steve works daily with such groups as the Family Life committee, Building and Grounds committee, and pastors and staff to ensure their ministries receive the best resources available. “…I hope that I can assist them in any way to be a success,” he adds. But in the midst of Steve’s calendars, checklists, and meetings, lies a servant heart and exceptional love for his church family when he says, “I am thankful for the honor and privilege the Lord has blessed me with in serving at Mountain Chapel.”
