Happy Timers

The Happy Timers group at Mountain Chapel UMC is made up of active folks who enjoy getting out and about. To be a "senior" usually means age 50 and older, but we do not have an age limitation. All that is needed is a smiling face and a sense of adventure.

We pay as we go, charging a gas donation, and, where applicable, admission. If we have a little money on hand at the end of May, we make a contribution to the on-going Van Fund. The group is led by Irene Himes with invaluable assistance from Jill Henderson.

This is an outreach activity for the church, and visitors are welcome.

We meet the 4th Tuesday of the month during September through November. We also take a mystery trip in January/February and have a luncheon in May. We also usually have one activity during the summer.
