Sunday School News and Events

Nobody wants to be ordinary. In fact, the world does everything it can to make sure you don’t have to be. But what if you could be a part of something that didn’t require all the “extra” of your ordinary self? Mountain Chapel’s youth ministry aims to be just that: a place to be yourself. With an emphasis on building authentic relationships and answering life’s tough questions, we hope to provide a comfortable environment for all junior high and high school students to grow in their faith. Check the weekly Messenger or News and Events page for announcements about weekend events, summer trips, and more.

Sunday Night United Methodist Youth Fellowship

Sunday night begins at 5:00 with dinner prepared by Chef Richard in the Fireside Room. The Outlet is what we call the remainder of our time together, from 5:30-6:30pm in the Loft. We prepare for the week ahead by “plugging in” to the Life Source that sustains us.

Wednesday Night Refuge

On Wednesday nights, Mountain Chapel’s youth ministry offers “Refuge,” for its youth – a place to pray, do homework, hang out and connect with one another from 6:00-7:00 in the Loft. Contact Director of Youth Ministries, Mason Boyd, through the church office for more details.
