The Music Ministry at Mountain Chapel is a growing, changing ministry and seeks to offer a variety of worship experiences for everyone. The following is a list of our current music ministries. For more information on joining a music group, please contact the church office.
Choirs
The Adult Chancel ChoirThe Adult Chancel Choir currently performs at the 10:30 am service each Sunday, with Wednesday evening rehearsals from 7:00-8:00 pm The ensemble is open to any person age 15 years and older, regardless of skill level or experience
Bachmann Handbell Choir
The Bachmann Handbell Choir offers a different musical opportunity for those interested in playing handbells and is open to people ages 12 years and older with skill levels from novice to seasoned professional. The handbell choir performs at least quarterly, during holidays, with the Chancel choir, and other various times. Practice is every Monday at 7:00 pm in the choir room.
Children’s Choir
Though Mountain Chapel does not have an official “Children’s Choir,” our children sing all the time. These many opportunities include during Sunday school, Children’s Church, Shepherd’s Club, and Lamb’s Club. They also perform at numerous church services throughout the year.
Instruments
Mountain Chapel offers performance opportunities for those with instrumental skills and a desire to present the Gospel message through music. Those interested in solo, ensemble, or choir accompaniment should contact David Armstrong through the church office.David
