What to Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. What should you wear? What is the style of worship? What kind of teaching can you expect to hear? We hope to provide answers to all of these questions so that you can enjoy your first visit at Mountain Chapel.

Worship: The format of our Sunday morning worship services is easily followed in our church bulletin, which is given prior to the service by an usher at all of the sanctuary entrances. The music in our worship services includes a combination of traditional hymns and modern worship choruses. Our talented choir also shares special music during the service.

Dress: While we take worship seriously, we are also committed to maintaining a comfortable atmosphere. The style of dress in one of our services can range from a suit and tie to jeans and a t-shirt. We value your friendship and involvement more than we care how you might be dressed!

Teaching: Tom, our senior pastor, administers the majority of our Sunday morning worship service messages, and his casual style of teaching coincides with his personable approach to pastoring at Mountain Chapel. Tom and all of our pastors encourage worship attendees to bring their Bibles to Sunday morning worship in order to follow along during the sermon time.
